Once upon a time, I was an art editor working for a fast-selling magazine for over 10 years. I took myself by surprise when after an hour-long life coach session and having read the book, Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway by Susan Jeffers, I decided to quit my full-time role to follow my dreams and start teaching modern calligraphy workshops and travel to India to train to be a yoga teacher.

Within a matter of months I had taught my first calligraphy workshop, (terrifying!) booked my ticket to India and quit my full-time job.

Soon after returning from India my business Ink & Flow was born. I have now been teaching and working under both disciplines for nearly 4 years and couldn’t be happier!

I am truly passionate about what I do, I love meeting new people, teaching them, and hopefully inspiring others to go get it! Feeling the fear is well worth it believe me :)

I'd highly recommend this engaging calligraphy workshop. Kirstie is such a lovely teacher. She gave clear instructions and provided tips and encouragement throughout the workshop. She gave everyone beautiful printed guides and we got to keep the pen, nib and ink pot provided. The workshop was conveniently located next to a train station and situated in a gorgeous plant shop. Overall I felt the workshop provided good value for money.

It was such a fun experience! I was slightly nervous, but the atmosphere was nice and Kirstie was very friendly teacher. I wanted to try calligraphy for long and it was a perfect workshop to start!

I had a lovely 2 hour beginners class with teacher Kirstie today. I found the whole experience delightful and informative. I ordered online easily enough, the kit came next morning and I must say, the presentation box of the kit was an excellent design. Kirstie was absolutely lovely, she was very knowledgable, made me feel really at ease and gave me positive feedback on my calligraphy lettering. I was really impressed with the whole experience. Not only did I enjoy myself, it will help with mindfulness too. Loved it, thank you Kirstie.
