Sam, the teacher, was so welcoming from the get-go and made sure we were comfortable throughout the class. She explained everything very kindly and clearly, and taught us many colouring and printing techniques. The atmosphere was nice and cosy, and there are lots of items to choose from as your 'canvas'. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience - thank you so much!

There are a range of block designs to choose from and you are given a demonstration on how to apply paint and remove paint from the blocks. There are a range of paint colours to choose from and you get to test out different block designs before creating a design on a tea towel or tote bag. A few other items are avaiable to choose from for more experienced block printers. Drinks and cake were also provided.

From start to finish it was just a fantastic experience! Sam explained the entire process and showed us many different techniques. She was so helpful! Always ready to save the day!! You don’t need to think twice about booking this class or gifting it to someone! Every bit of the afternoon was worth it! She was so thoughtful and even catered to our dietary needs which was really kind of her! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We have a background in creating, curating and designing products and supporting a space for new ideas and creativity to flow from, for everyone to enjoy, so this feels like a natural next step.We are starting with Indian Block Printing which is a wonderful traditional craft with centuries of heritage behind it, yet it is unbelievably contemporary, in both design and ethos. It’s an easy craft to lose yourself in, and best still, anyone can do it and achieve beautiful results. We will be offering stand alone workshops, weekly workshops and group bookings, extending to parties.Creativity, and time beyond our busy lives, improves mental health. It can be a space to find new friends, or a space to join with friends… and we want to provide a space to be free of worry and a pause from the everyday.. come and create with us.Nest founder, Samantha, runs the workshops. She has a First Class Degree in Design and has taught art in schools and universities for 30 years.
