Join me for a wood painting workshop in my Rushden garden studio and learn how to create something unique for your home. This activity is the perfect way to relax, enjoy time with friends, or just take some well-deserved time out for yourself.
You will be provided with a pre-cut, reclaimed wooden base, ready for you to paint your own colourful design. I’ll be on hand to share my personal tips on choosing colours, creating your design, and achieving a crisp, clean finish. To complete your piece, you'll add a beautiful glass votive for a tealight candle.
My workshops are designed to be small and friendly, with space for up to six people. You are very welcome to come on your own or with a friend – you’ll be in the company of other fabulous people in a relaxed setting.
You'll leave the studio feeling creatively fulfilled, taking home a gorgeous, hand-painted tealight holder that you’ll be desperate to show off in your home.
Please note, access is through our home so there are a number of steps and the workshop is at the bottom of our garden. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
I can also be booked to come to an event you're hosting - hen do, birthday party etc.
Send me an email to talk about your special event.

Hi I'm Amy!
I’m the owner, designer and maker behind Pinkyswifts. I live in Rushden, Northamptonshire with my husband and Reggie the dog.
I really love colour and pattern. And what I love even more is helping people to inject colour, sustainability and their own personality into their homes and workplaces.
I have always loved making and building things and have never been afraid of trying new things so while watching The Repair Shop one evening, I realised that if I didn't act soon, I'd never know what I could have done! So I completed an HND in cabinet making in 2019 and learned the foundations of both building furniture from scratch and - crucially for my future career - how to fix furniture that had already lived a life.
6 years on I am creating furniture for people all over the UK, helping them make their spaces as unforgettable and fabulous as they are!
