Please note, access is through our home so there are a number of steps and the workshop is at the bottom of our garden. Unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

- 5/5 from Paula Doherty, attended Dec 2024: Fabulous class. Amy is so welcoming and her studio is a gorgeous, cosy sanctuary. We didn't know the two other students but within minutes Amy made us all feel like a bunch of friends on a school trip. We had an amazing array of colourful paints to decorate our sustainable, pre cut stars. With Amy's guidance I was able to make a considered choice. The real expertise was in the technique needed to create a unique design and finish. Amy was patient, while also challenging us to work outside our usual levels of comfort. We had homemade mince pies and brownies, with mulled wine and hot chocolate. Honestly, this was worth the price of the class on it's own. I didn't expect to be so excited about what I ended up making. Amy's expert guidance made sure that none of us would leave without a piece of art to be proud of. I am so pleased that I had already booked onto the Upcycle a Bowl class.

Hi I'm Amy!I’m the owner, designer and maker behind Pinkyswifts. I live in Rushden, Northamptonshire with my husband and Reggie the dog.I really love colour and pattern. And what I love even more is helping people to inject colour, sustainability and their own personality into their homes and workplaces. I have always loved making and building things and have never been afraid of trying new things so while watching The Repair Shop one evening, I realised that if I didn't act soon, I'd never know what I could have done! So I completed an HND in cabinet making in 2019 and learned the foundations of both building furniture from scratch and - crucially for my future career - how to fix furniture that had already lived a life.6 years on I am creating furniture for people all over the UK, helping them make their spaces as unforgettable and fabulous as they are!
