What you'll do
Unleash your creativity and discover the joy of pottery making in our clay hand building class in Sheffield. In this workshop, you will learn the fundamental techniques of slab, coil, and pinch pot building. Guided step-by-step by our experienced instructor, you'll soon be transforming clay into functional and beautiful works of art.
No need to worry if you're a complete beginner or lack confidence in your skills; this class is designed for all levels. We provide a sociable and friendly setting where you can feel at ease and have fun while exploring the world of pottery.
Our sessions can be booked on an ad-hoc basis and last 2.5 hrs. We want you to have ample time to fully immerse yourself in the process and create something truly special.
During your pottery class, you'll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded adults who share your passion for pottery. You'll get to work with different types of clay and experiment with various techniques, allowing your creativity to flourish.
At the end of the workshop, you'll be amazed at what you have accomplished. Your pots will be bisque fired and you can either return to glaze them or they will be glazed by us and sent out to your home address. Take home your finished pieces, which will serve as a tangible reminder of your time spent exploring this wonderful art form.
