Last week of the course students can create their own project using gained knowledge and materialise it into their masterpiece.

Starting on Monday, 14 September, at 6PM and running until 8PM each evening, KeKo Club proudly offers a four-week hand-building pottery course. Over four consecutive Mondays, you’ll embark on a creative journey.
What does it cover:
  • Week one covers pinch pot techniques.
  • Week two focuses on the coil method.
  • Week three introduces slab building.
  • Week four is your personal project of choice.
What is included in your experience:
  • Full tutorship, guidance, and the use of all studio equipment you’ll need for the duration of this course.
  • Underglazes, glazes, and all firing services.
Clay is sold separately, and no shelf storage is provided, but you can add a membership for shelf space and extra studio time if you wish.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 5 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the session; if that happens, we'll inform you and let you choose between a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

What you'll get
In four weeks, students get a solid foundation in pinch, coil, and slab techniques. More importantly, they'll learn how to combine them to design their own pieces with confidence. You'll explore clay stages, joining methods, texture, underglazes, basic glazing, and finishing. Plus, you'll make a variety of functional and decorative ceramics in a relaxed, supportive environment with tools, studio glazes, and firings included, while clay is purchased separately. My Journey with KeKo Club
I never set out to build a business; I set out to build a space where people could breathe, play, and create. Pottery was my lifeline—hands in clay gave me healing, focus, and joy. And one day, I thought: why not share that lifeline with others?
That’s how KeKo Club was born. I call it an “art gym” because it’s not about perfection, it’s about practice. Just like you’d go to the gym to stretch your muscles, here you come to stretch your imagination. Some people arrive nervous, convinced they’re “not creative.” But once they sit at the wheel or start hand‑building, something shifts. Clay has a way of reminding us we’re capable of more than we think.
I wanted KeKo to feel like a playground for grown‑ups and kids alike. Workshops aren’t just about technique—they’re about laughter, snacks, and the joy of making something with your own hands. I write clues in rhyme, I send playful invitations, and I keep the messaging light because art should never feel intimidating.
Behind the scenes, of course, there’s plenty of juggling—managing bookings, fixing backend glitches, collaborating with local businesses, and dreaming up new events. But every time I see someone proudly holding their first mug or sculpture, I’m reminded why I do this.
KeKo Club isn’t just a studio. It’s a community. It’s a place where clay connects us, where creativity becomes a shared adventure, and where people leave not only with something they’ve made, but with a smile that says, I belong here.
