Gravy Jug Workshop

There’s nothing quite like a proper roast dinner, and what better way to serve up the gravy than in a jug you’ve made yourself? Join us for a fun and relaxed pottery workshop where you’ll create your very own unique gravy jug – perfect for Sunday roasts, family dinners, and all those deliciously gravy-filled occasions.Whether you’re completely new to pottery or have had a go with clay before, this hands-on class is a chance to get creative, learn some pottery skills, and make something you’ll actually use. You’ll be guided through the process of shaping your very own gravy jug, with plenty of opportunity to add your own style and personality to the finished piece.Once your jug has taken shape, you’ll get to decorate it using a selection of colourful underglazes, giving your piece that extra pop of personality. Your jug will then be left to dry before being bisque fired, glazed, and fired once more, creating a beautiful, food-safe, and dishwasher-safe piece that’s ready to use.Your finished gravy jug will be available for collection in approximately 4–6 weeks – just in time to bring it out for those cosy autumn and winter roasts, and perhaps even Christmas dinner! And if you can’t collect it straight away, don’t worry – your creation will be kept safely at the studio for up to 6 weeks after it’s ready for collection.Whether you’re joining us solo, bringing along a group of friends, or looking for a fun activity to enjoy together, this workshop is all about getting stuck into clay, having fun, and making something truly special (and useful!) for your table.
