What you'll get
Silver clay, 24ct gold foil, and Argentium findings are included in the course fee. However, if your take on Golden Afterglow requires more than is provided, there will be more silver and gold available for you to buy on the day at class-discounted prices.All tools and materials required for this masterclass are available in the studio to use, but please feel free to bring your own, especially if you have old faithfuls that you are more comfortable using.

Knowledge required
Some knowledge of working with silver clay is preferred. We will be working with silver clay that is much thinner than in many standard projects, so you will need to be confident about working with such margins.
What to bring
All tools are provided, so there is no need to bring anything with you unless you have favourites.

The studio was set up by award winning metal clay artist, Richard Allen and Lesley Willard and their silver clay taster and themed workshops cater for all skill levels, from the absolute beginner to the more advanced. From a personalised one to one session or time with some friends up to a team building corporate experience.Although our studio is based in the Victoria Dock area of Hull in East Yorkshire, we hold workshops all over the North of England (and sometimes further afield!) Come and join us on one of our workshops, we know you'll have a lot of fun.Both Richard and Lesley regularly showcase their designs in London and have had work displayed in Poland and Japan. The couple were awarded The People's Choice Award for Collection of the Year at The Professional Jeweller Awards 2025 and have now been made finalists for the UK Jewellery Awards 2026.
