  • 5/5 from Jane Kelly, attended Mar 2026: Absolutely fabulous class with Helen! Helen is such a lovely person and great teacher and made the day a really great experience. It was really fun learning all the techniques and our confidence grew really quickly. Came out with a beaming smile and a lovely finished piece! Highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Janine Rees, attended Mar 2026: The teacher was fantastic There’s no need to worry if you’re a beginner because everything is explained clearly with a demonstration. The atmosphere was very friendly. I also enjoyed learning a new skill.
  • 5/5 from Joyce Wills, attended Mar 2026: Loved this class. I've done a variety of craft classes recently with my daughter - we buy them for each other for birthdays and Christmas. The daffodil glass workshop yesterday was a brilliant experience - lovely group of people and everything was explained well. I was a bit hesitant cutting the glass at first but soon got the hang of it. I had no idea how stained glass was put together and it was really satisfying coming away with my own daffodil at the end. Great day out - would definitely recommend to anyone considering having a go.
  • 5/5 from Caz Clark, attended Feb 2026: Helen created a warm atmosphere and quickly made me feel comfortable. The workshop was organised in such a way that it was clear to see what we needed to do and the task of making a glass and copper foil daffodil was broken down to small, achievable steps, even though I’d not done it before. I was really pleased with my finished daffodil and throughly enjoyed myself. Thank you Helen.
  • 5/5 from Susan Mills, attended Feb 2026: Me and a friend attended the daffodil stain glass class. All materials were included, with no previous experience and with help from Helen I were able to make the daffodil. :). Had a nice day and left well chuffed with what I created.
  • 5/5 from Debbie Greenaway, attended Feb 2026: Great class, very friendly and Helen was a good tutor with lots of experience and knowledge. Lovely venue, with good access and facilities. Would highly recommend, definitely going to take another class. Thanks Helen.

I've loved being creative my whole life so, after travelling and living in Greece for 13 years, I returned to the UK to study in Swansea, achieving a BA and MA in Architectural Glass, followed by a teaching degree in Art and Design. It was such an exciting time, learning and teaching everything I'd always loved. Later, as part of my professional development in teaching, a taster session using Precious Metal Clay was tagged onto the end of a short course and that was it, I was hooked on that too. I did evening classes for three years with Gorseion College for a City and Guilds, followed by taking up traditional silversmithing classes at the same college. I've been making jewellery and doing glasswork as a business since 2013, passing on my enthusiasm in my classes.
