Gin Tasting

For groups that love their gin we’ve combined gin tasting with the fun of cocktail making. All the knowledge of a mini gin tasting but with the fun, hands on experience of a cocktail workshop. Having the cocktail part of the workshop not only makes the activity a little more hands on as opposed to a seated and sometimes stuffy spirits tasting but also makes it more accessible for members of the group who aren’t the biggest gin lovers. The cocktail element means we can tone down the juniper forward flavours associated with gin to make the cocktails more appealing to a wider audience as experience tells us it’s very rare to have a whole hen group of gin lovers so we’ve tried to make this more inclusive for everyone. Being a Bristol based business ourselves we will be sampling some fantastic local Bristol gins distilled right here in Bristol that not only taste amazing but also support another local, independent Bristol business. Paired alongside some well known brands as well this workshop will have the right amount of knowledge from one of our industry experts but with all the fun of cocktail making where you can learn the tricks of the bar trade and improve your bartending and cocktail skills. What is included:

• 1.5 hour tutored tasting by an experienced industry professional
• Welcome Gin and Tonic on arrival with gin tasting
• 2 Gin based cocktails
• Another gin tasting to finish

A perfect mix of gin and cocktails for groups who love their gin or just want to learn more about the spirit. This workshop is perfect for groups looking for a little more industry knowledge as opposed to just a fun based cocktail class. The tasting element will have a more deliberate knowledgable element of the workshop as this is what differentiates a tasting based activity from regular cocktail classes, making this activity ideal for smaller groups, groups with a wider age range or quieter less rowdy hen groups.
