You will make two designs; including either a cheeky bird or another picture of your choice.Don't worry if you're new to this craft, our class is perfect for absolute beginners looking to explore this satisfying DIY hobby. We'll begin by creating a small suncatcher to practice on, making the entire glass fusing process easier to grasp. The final piece is made from pre-cut bases and glass granules. You'll be guided on how to bring your designs to life; either by following Linda's templates or coming up with your own concept. Your designs will be ready to collect 10 days after the session or they can be posted to you for an additional cost of £8.
Linda has been a glass artist for over 20 years, based at her workshop near Cranborne, Dorset.Linda explores the traditional techniques of stained glass, copper foil ‘tiffany’, mosaics and glass fusing. Captivated by the light, texture and colour combinations of glass, she has developed a range of vibrant contemporary designs.These include, framed tiffany pictures and sun catchers, vibrant fused glass jewellery, and fused glass hangings, coasters and bowls.Her work is inspired by the natural forms and colours.
