Fused Glass Beach Huts and Seascapes Class

Learn fusing techniques to create your own seaside-inspired glass art in Romsey

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 8     label £48

Looking for unique glass fusing classes in Romsey? Join us for this relaxing, beginner-friendly workshop and learn how to create glass art inspired by everything from cheeky seagulls to rolling waves.

You will make two to three designs, starting the workshop by making a small sun catcher and learning about the glass fusing process. The final piece will be a picture or seascape, using copper foil and cut glass shapes and beads, which means no cutting is required.

Don't stress if you're a complete beginner. You'll receive plenty of one-on-one guidance as we take you through the glass fusing process step-by-step. Connect with like-minded individuals and make something you'll be proud to display in your home.

Choose from beach huts, seascapes or another one of Linda's many examples, or make your own design. Your finished glass art will be ready to collect 10 days after the session or they can be posted to you for an additional cost of £8.

Linda has been a glass artist for over 20 years, based at her workshop near Cranborne, Dorset.

Linda explores the traditional techniques of stained glass, copper foil ‘tiffany’, mosaics and glass fusing. Captivated by the light, texture and colour combinations of glass, she has developed a range of vibrant contemporary designs.

These include, framed tiffany pictures and sun catchers, vibrant fused glass jewellery, and fused glass hangings, coasters and bowls.
