Full Day Silversmithing Workshop

Whether you're an aspiring jeweller or just want a fun day out in the Cotswolds, this silversmithing workshop is a brilliant way to introduce yourself to the art of working with silver!At this all-day workshop, you'll learn from a silversmithing expert, who'll share the secrets of working with silver. They'll give you exciting demos of a whole host of useful crafting skills, from ring sizing to soldering metal, sawing and polishing, before you pick up your tools and start to create some beautiful, handcrafted silver jewellery of your own. You’ll make at least two silver items, a set of stacking rings, a bangle or a pair of earrings perhaps. Don't worry if this is your first time working with metal, as your hosts will be on hand throughout the day, offering help, advice, and maybe a slice of cake or two to keep you going!There'll also be a selection of teas and coffees on offer, as well a delicious lunch — and perhaps even a little glass of something bubbly to finish! You'll leave not only with a selection of your handmade solid silver jewellery to take home, but also the skills you need to continue this exciting craft yourself. It's a brilliant way to spend a crafty day catching up with some friends or family in the picturesque Cotswolds countryside.Please note parts of this workshop are a bit noisy!
