Create your own solid silver pendant and matching drop earrings in this immersive, nature-inspired workshop, drawing on the quiet beauty of Cornish woodland and hedgerow finds. This workshop is often enjoyed as a natural next step after my Sea Glass Stone Setting course, allowing students to build on their skills and explore more sculptural silver clay techniques. However, it is also completely beginner-friendly and designed for those with no prior jewellery-making experience, with full step-by-step guidance throughout.Working in a small, relaxed group of just four people, you’ll receive plenty of individual attention as you learn how to transform silver clay into fine silver jewellery. The pace is calm and supportive, giving you time to explore, experiment, and build confidence as you work.Inspired by foraged natural forms — acorns, seed heads, sycamore seeds, berries, and delicate leaf textures — you’ll learn how to capture intricate botanical detail in silver. You’ll also explore simple 3D forming techniques, creating sculptural elements such as acorns or seed pods that add depth and movement to your designs.Your day includes time to shape, refine, and develop both your pendant and earrings before firing them into solid silver. Once fired, you’ll finish your pieces with polishing and detail work, revealing every natural impression and texture. To make the experience feel truly special, a cream tea is included, along with prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative.By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a beautifully coordinated silver pendant and drop earrings — a wearable collection inspired by nature, crafted entirely by you in a peaceful, creative setting. This workshop is held in my home studio, so I can keep it small and personal - with no more than four students at a time. This allows me to give each person plenty of individual attention and guidance in a relaxed, creative space. In addition there’s no minimum number needed - so your workshop will always go ahead. Parking is free and available on site or on the road. It is ideal for public transport (Just 5-10 minutes walk from the Train station. (see getting there and parking section below)Marjorie Ulisa Fletcher"From the beginning we had a wonderful experience, Rebecca welcomed us to her home, and we learned how to make a mould. Simple once you know how. We finished with lovely items in pure silver to take home. We had scones, jam, and cream too!"Nichola Rigby"Did class to celebrate 2 40th birthdaysClass was excellent and very well explainedWe all made beautiful pieces of jewellery to take away"Beckie Howson "I really wanted to try silver metal clay and this course covered all the elements. Rebecca is a true professional and is an inspirational guide to the medium. From mould making, texturing, stone setting, working with the clay and sintering, she knows how to get the result her students need. I had a specific design in mind and she took me through, step by step, to ensure I came out of the day with the piece of my dreams! I cannot recommend her highly enough, and am so glad I took a course rather than using online resources- trust me you save money by avoiding pitfalls / mistakes!"Tara"Very enjoyable day and walked away with a beautiful item of jewellery ready to wear. Rebecca made us feel very welcome."Anne Colworth"My daughter and I had an amazing jewellery making experience. Rebecca was a very good teacher and we came home with lovely silver items.
