5 hours Class size 10 to 16     label £110

Immerse yourself in a day full of mindfulness, creativity and culinary delights as you explore the benefits of nature and capture it in beautiful photos.

Your adventure begins with a warm welcome of tea, coffee, Forest Kombucha, delectable pastries from Forest Bake House, and a burst of freshness from an array of seasonal fruits.

Energised by your breakfast, you'll then join acclaimed photographer Andy Squiff for a mindful photography and forest bathing hike in the enchanting Forest of Dean. Experience the Japanese art of Shinrin Yoku—forest bathing—by immersing yourself in the tranquillity of dense woodlands straight from the venue.

Take in the beauty of the season, allow nature to soothe your senses and embark on a scenic walk. In the autumn, you'll also have the chance to try leaf-peeping. Don your cosiest sweater, revel in crunchy leaves and travel through the colourful world of the forest's changing landscape.

Then it's time to indulge your tastebuds with forest flavours as you dine on a lunch featuring a wild boar and butter bean stew adorned with carrots, star anise, and green beans. Or graze tables in the garden room for summer dining. A vegan/vegetarian option is also available. This is then followed by a double choc mousse or free-from sorbet.

In the afternoon, you can then explore breathwork and Qi Gong with Andy Squiff. Whether surrounded by the tranquillity of the woods or back at the comforting embrace of Mill End, this experience promises to rejuvenate your mind and body.

Round off this restorative experience with a cup of tea and cake before leaving with a heart full of memories and a refreshed spirit.

On the hunt for some fun group activities with a difference? Whether you need a relaxing hen party or a unique team building activity, unwind with your pals in this special experience.

This experience can be modified. For instance, you can swap out one of the activities if you would like to include some company training or strategic planning.

Il Bordello was originally the name of the converted Dutch barge, moored in Central Bristol, which had been lovingly converted by Liz Lewitt and her partner Zoff Hayward. It was a music industry and media members only bar, with events ranging from live music, art exhibitions and spoken word events to product launches, private parties and burlesque evenings. The cocktail menu was ground breaking of it’s time, it was the first bar outside London to sell vapourised alcohol and it welcomed musicians, artists, poets, party people and Hell’s Angels alike.

Providing bespoke catering, hospitality, classes and entertainment, for both in-house guests at Mill End and also ‘on the road’ for private events and guests of other large holiday lets, Bordello Banquets is a love affair with food; a visual, sensory feast; with Mediterranean menus and home cooking, using the very best of local and artisan products and a quirky and creative take on table design and styling. Bordello Banquets also specialises in hosting whole themed weekends for hen parties.
