Fluid Art Coaster and Resin Workshop

Learn pour painting with resin and create your own colourful coasters in Dorset!

2 hours Class size 1 to 15 guests     £25
Design and create fluid art coasters at this Broadstone workshop with Paint & Pop. Guided by your passionate teacher, you'll learn pour painting and resin finishing techniques that'll make your coasters pop!
Also known as acrylic pouring, fluid painting is a type of abstract art that involves pouring layers of thin, liquid acrylic paint onto a canvas. Because of that fluid consistency, the paint moves and spreads freely, creating interesting and organic shapes.
Using coasters as a canvas makes fluid painting simple for everyone, no matter your skill level. Your unique coasters will be completed with a resin finish.
No matter which approach you choose to apply fluid acrylic paint, you will consistently be surprised by the designs you can create. Once you have finished you will leave your artwork at our studio to dry for around 72 hours and will receive a call or text when they're ready to collect and admire!
Please note:

Paint & Pop was born after our own experience in Sydney where we were visiting our son and his partner. They invited us to a bear painting afternoon and a Picasso-style paint and sip experience. Although we weren’t sure what either of that meant or if we were even creative enough, we soon realised it didn’t matter. Skill and talent weren’t important. It was all about creating something with those you love, spending quality time together doing something you wouldn’t ordinarily do and getting to take that experience away with you in the form of a tangible memory.
On our return home we were looking for somewhere to share this experience with our younger son, but we couldn’t find anywhere, so here we have Paint & Pop; a studio here in Broadstone, Dorset. We sincerely hope we can deliver the fun, the laughter, and the memories for you to hold on to like we did.
