Spring wreath
In this wreath workshop, you will celebrate spring by adding bulbs, seasonal foliage and moss on a willow ring base. Then as the months progress, flowers will grow and bloom right on your front door!

Summer wreath
Wreaths are perfect all year round, even in summer. With the use of durable plants and foliage, your wreath can last all season long and even be brought indoors during the winter. Using a willow ring base, your teacher will help you create a beautiful design with plants such as succulents that can withstand the heat. You'll get guidance on maintaining your wreath to ensure it looks its best.

Autumn wreath
The autumn foliage is so stunning, imagine capturing it in a DIY wreath for your front door. You will create a willow ring as the base and adorn it with beautiful autumn leaves in a design of your choice. To enhance the colours of fall, you will also include dried flowers for an extra pop.

Christmas wreath
Celebrate the festive season with a beautiful wreath adorning your front door. The delightful fragrance will welcome your guests with warmth and cheer. This wreath workshop will guide you in creating a stunning design using a simple willow ring as the foundation, along with an assortment of Christmas foliage such as berries, sea holly, Limonium, pine cones, cinnamon sticks, orange slices, and other natural decorations. You'll also have the option to choose from a variety of ribbons for your bow.

Dried flower wreath
Create a beautiful, handmade wreath for your home by learning how to dry flowers, select the right foliage, weave a willow ring, and add dried flowers for a lovely and delicate final touch.

Why choose Bloomery?
We believe in working with the environment and don’t use non-biodegradable oasis-type floral foam in our designs. Floral foam takes many years to break down, can’t be composted or recycled. In season we buy as many flowers as we can from local flower growers to support the local economy, also UK grown flowers have more scent than blooms from abroad and they also feed our UK bees! Nearly 90% of flowers bought in the UK are imported and may travel up to 3, 000 miles before they see a vase at home, so buying locally means the flowers are fresher and the air miles are none existent.

About me -- Allyson Martin
I’ve always loved working with flowers and plants. As a small child I’d sneak away at my grandparent’s house only to be found in the garden or greenhouse with Grandad, looking after the plants and vegetables that he grew. I finished university and started on a career in retail, eventually becoming a fashion buyer, which took me to some amazing places and I met some wonderful people, but the idea of starting my own flower business has always been with me. When we moved to the area I was able to complete my level 2 floristry certificate at Moreton Morrell college. To my enormous delight I was also awarded floristry student of the year. At this time I also worked for a floral installation company, creating arrangements for events such as the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Henley Regatta, Aegon Tennis tournament and even Wimbledon. I have now reached a point in my life where it’s now or never -- and I don’t want to look back and think ‘what if?‘. So here I am.
