Creativity, Calm & Colour : My Mosaic StoryMy love of mosaic art began during a trip to India, where I was completely mesmerised by the stunning wall-sized mosaics at Candy’s Café in Mumbai. There was something so powerful about the colour, detail and sheer scale that it stayed with me long after I returned home.Inspired to learn more, I immersed myself in mosaic courses with some incredibly talented artists. I trained with Caroline Jariwala, whose beautiful Indian-inspired mosaics using broken china opened up a whole new creative world for me. I then went on to learn African styles and fine detail cutting with Dionne Ible, before travelling to Somerset to work with Angela Nash. I also spent many hours at Tempsford-Stained Glass, learning the precision and patience required to cut glass accurately.In 2016, I began running my own workshops, and it quickly became clear to me how powerful creativity can be — not just in producing something beautiful, but in supporting wellbeing, relaxation and confidence. I wanted to make mosaic art accessible to anyone, not just those who could attend in-person classes.That’s how Box Clever Crafts was born.My aim has always been to create thoughtfully designed kits that make mosaic simple, enjoyable and achievable — whether you’re a complete beginner or ready to take on a more advanced project. Each kit includes everything you need, along with clear, easy-to-follow instructions so you can enjoy the process from start to finish.Having experienced first-hand the positive impact creativity can have on mental health, I’m passionate about helping others discover that same sense of calm and achievement. More recently, I’ve also expanded the range to include new creative options, including our latest diamond art kits — perfect for those who love crafting but prefer a no-mess alternative.I really hope you enjoy making them as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
