What you'll do
Searching for a hen party idea, birthday bash or fun group activity in the Cotswolds? Join the team at Bloomery in their bright and airy floristry studio in Broadway for flower crown making.In this workshop, you’ll learn the art of creating your very own flower crown. Working with a willow ring, you'll carefully attach gorgeous flora, leaving you with a headdress you can wear with pride!You'll have plenty of support every step of the way, so don't worry if you're new to floral design. This is a relaxed and creative experience full of beautiful blooms and plenty of fun. Planning a hen do at your place? Personalise your experience by picking your own venue and the folks at Bloomery can bring the materials to you for an extra fee.Please note:
- For mobile group bookings there will be a cost of £5 per person for every additional 10 miles of travel.

In season we buy as many flowers as we can from local flower growers to support the local economy, also UK grown flowers have more scent than blooms from abroad and they also feed our UK bees! Nearly 90% of flowers bought in the UK are imported and may travel up to 3, 000 miles before they see a vase at home, so buying locally means the flowers are fresher and the air miles are none existent.About me -- Allyson MartinI’ve always loved working with flowers and plants. As a small child I’d sneak away at my grandparent’s house only to be found in the garden or greenhouse with Grandad, looking after the plants and vegetables that he grew. I finished university and started on a career in retail, eventually becoming a fashion buyer, which took me to some amazing places and I met some wonderful people, but the idea of starting my own flower business has always been with me. When we moved to the area I was able to complete my level 2 floristry certificate at Moreton Morrell college. To my enormous delight I was also awarded floristry student of the year. At this time I also worked for a floral installation company, creating arrangements for events such as the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Henley Regatta, Aegon Tennis tournament and even Wimbledon. I have now reached a point in my life where it’s now or never -- and I don’t want to look back and think ‘what if?‘. So here I am.
