- 3/5 from Jayne Evans, attended Jul 2026: Made a basic bouquet and learnt the technique of arranging them with foliage Would have like more time on arranging other types of flowers within the time. 1/2 was the teacher talking about her provenance!

The pub was busy and although we had a quiet area, lots of people walking in and out. So when stood doing flower arrangements we had to keep moving out of the way. Not a major issue and location was easy fir us to get to by bus x

Gorgeous flowers and a nice display to take home. Unfortunately the venue was quite disappointing. Difficult to find, very unfriendly staff and extremely loud music which was an issue for one of our party who is deaf in one ear.

We learned a lot, could ask questions, and were able to get hands on to try things out ourselves after being shown the techniques. Hosting in Louise’s home made for a personal and relaxing environment, and we were made to feel very welcome. We were surprised at how quickly we were able to pick up the techniques and put together a bouquet which wouldn’t look out of place in a florist (which we got to take home with us)! Overall a great introductory course which has wet our whistle to take it further and also put together some of our own at home! Would definitely recommend (for us it made a nice birthday surprise).

Her flower knowledge is amazing and she made the class engaging and fun. We all came home with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and lots of tips to recreate this at home. Would highly recommend her classes and would book again

The Crafty Gardeners is a Flower and Garden school that started after spending 20 years being a garden designer creating gardens for clients in the South West. Teaching both how to plan and create your own garden OR how to make a beautiful floral arrangement gives me great joy. I love sharing what I have learned over the decades with people who are at the beginning of their flower and garden-loving journey.
