Flash Stories Writing Workshop

A super chance to learn about the process of writing a story, with experienced writer Rachel Weld.

2 hours Class size 1 to 10 guests       £19

Learn about the process of writing a story in this special two-hour workshop with experienced writer Rachel Weld, taking place as part of the Didsbury Arts Festival. This engaging activity will introduce you to ways you can generate ideas, explore themes, and develop your own flash stories.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from an accomplished writer. Rachel has written for BBC Philharmonic broadcasts, has numerous publishing credits, and has even explored entwining spoken word and music in performances. She will guide you through a creative process that is perfect for anyone with an interest in writing. You don’t need to have an idea to take part; it's all about seeing where the day takes you. Simply bring an open mind, your notebook, and a pen.
This pop-up event is running alongside the Didsbury Summer Open Exhibition of art, which is free to the public from 4th to 20th July. By joining this workshop, you are also supporting a wonderful cause. Your money will go towards ensuring fair payment for our expert artist and funding social arts programmes for disadvantaged children at schools in Didsbury, Burnage, and Withington.
You will be emailed 48 hours before the event with confirmation of where to be and when.
You’ll leave this session feeling creatively energised, with a fresh perspective on storytelling and the tools to bring your own ideas to life.
