In this fun and creative workshop, you'll learn how to sculpt cheerful sunflower designs to customise a crochet hook handle and make coordinating stitch markers and accessories.
Guided step by step, you'll discover techniques for conditioning and shaping FIMO, blending colours, adding texture and securely attaching your designs to create both decorative and practical crochet tools. Whether you're new to polymer clay or looking to try a new craft, this workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike.
By the end of the session, you'll leave with a unique sunflower-themed crochet hook, a set of matching stitch markers ready to go in the oven, and the skills and inspiration to create more personalised crochet accessories at home.
You’ll need to oven-set the clay designs before letting them cool and attaching the findings, but once complete, show these accessories every time you crochet!
Your class will take place on Zoom, our online workshop platform. There’s no need to download anything—simply click the link provided in your booking confirmation to join the session at the scheduled time.
You’ll be sent a follow-up video which will be live for 12 months afterwards to guide you in your own time.
