Do I need any previous experience?
Not at all! The workshop is suitable for complete beginners. I'll guide you through the basic techniques step by step and help you bring your design to life.
What will I make?
You'll create your own handmade festive needle-felted baubles. I'll demonstrate how to make a robin, but you're welcome to explore other Christmas-inspired designs, such as gingerbread men or Christmas puddings, or create something entirely your own.
How many baubles will I make?
This 2.5-hour workshop includes two baubles: one larger 10cm bauble and one smaller 9cm bauble. Your designs can match or be completely different.
Do I have to make a robin?
Not at all! The robin is a great design for learning the basic techniques, but once you've got started, you're welcome to experiment with other festive characters, colours and ideas. I'll have examples available to inspire you.
Is needle felting difficult?
It's easier to get started than you might think! I'll demonstrate each stage and provide guidance throughout. Needle felting takes patience, but there's no pressure to create a perfect result - the charm is in making something uniquely yours and beginners will pick up the craft quickly
