Festive Fabric Art: A Christmas Kinusaiga Workshop

Fancy trying something a little different this Christmas? Come along for a relaxed and creative Christmas-themed Kinusaiga workshop near Bedford and have a go at the Japanese art of creating beautiful fabric pictures, with no sewing involved!You don’t need any experience at all. I’ll show you how everything works and be there to help you along the way. You’ll get to play around with lots of different fabrics, colours, and patterns to create a festive piece that’s completely your own.There’ll be a selection of Christmas-inspired templates to choose from, with festive favourites such as trees, stars, Santas, and other seasonal designs. Or, if you have an idea of your own, you can have a go at creating your own design. Your piece can be as traditional, colourful, or quirky as you like!At the end of this workshop, you’ll head home with a finished piece ready to display at Christmas, but there’s absolutely no pressure to get it all done on the day. If you don’t finish, we’ll make sure you have everything you need, plus plenty of guidance, to carry on and finish it at home.And if you catch the Kinusaiga bug, I’ll have craft packs available to buy on the day, so you can take another project home with you and keep creating.Mostly, it’s just a chance to slow down during the busy Christmas season, switch off, get creative, and try something new, all from the comfort of my own home — with a little festive sparkle along the way!
