For almost twenty years, I was a teacher — and I loved it. The planning, the sharing, and most of all, that moment when something finally clicks for someone and you can see the light bulb go on. That feeling never got old.

But as education changed, I found myself changing too. I'd always looked for better ways to take care of my own health, and I was growing increasingly uneasy about where the food industry was heading — more processed, more convenient, further from anything our bodies actually recognise. So after two decades in the classroom, I retrained in nutrition and herbal medicine.

Once qualified, I began offering nutrition workshops, through hands-on cookery sessions — and something unexpected happened: my love of teaching came rushing back. Watching people understand their own health in a new way, in real time, felt exactly like those classroom light bulb moments. So I added herbal medicine classes to what I offered, and it's been growing ever since.

Not everyone wants a one-to-one consultation — and they shouldn't have to, to get real support. By offering both nutrition and herbal workshops, there's a way in for everyone: however you learn best, whatever stage you're at, whatever feels right for you.
