Hi, I’m Tansy, an artist and sculptor based in Bristol. I specialise in casting, transforming raw materials into life-like sculptures, from delicate, detailed pieces to large-scale works. I’m passionate about exploring the different possibilities that can be achieved of texture, form, and scale through casting.Teaching is also a key part of my practice. I love sharing my passion for sculpture with students of all ages, fostering a hands-on, fun, and creative environment. Watching students gain confidence and develop new skills is incredibly rewarding.I’ve worked with a variety of casting materials, including lost wax, silicone, fibreglass, concrete, plaster, wax, and Jesmonite, each offering unique textures and finishes.
