Family Bunch Mosaic Workshop

Did you know that every month has a different birth flower associated with it? In this workshop, you'll learn how to create a stunning mosaic inspired by the beautiful birth flowers. Join me in my well-equipped studio for a full day of creativity and relaxation as you represent your family in a vibrant bunch of flowers.During the workshop, you'll have access to my wide collection of gorgeous vitreous glass tiles, ceramic beads, and broken vintage plates. I'll guide you through the tips and techniques to create a mosaic that you can be proud of. Don't worry if you're a beginner, as all the monthly birth flowers have already been designed for my kits, so you can simply copy them.In a friendly and supportive environment, you'll have the opportunity to plan a design and cut and shape your tesserae (tiles). We'll be using the 'direct method' to produce a mosaic (30cm) that will be ready to grout. You'll also learn about the correct adhesives and grouts to use. While we won't have time to grout during the workshop, I'll provide a full demonstration, and you can choose from a selection of different coloured grouts to finish off your mosaic at home.By the end of the day, you'll leave with a beautiful mosaic that represents your family and adds a pop of colour to your home. This workshop is not only a fun and relaxing activity but also a chance to learn new skills and create something truly special.
