- Wet vs. damp paper techniques
- Painting with pure water into colour
- Glycerine for dreamy blending
- Scratch marks, salt, resist sticks, sprays
- Creeping colour effects and atmospheric textures
- Create beautiful, semi-abstract patterns using:
- Tissue paper to build atmospheric layers
- Collage techniques
- Printing, texturing, and using tissue as a ground
- Play with pattern, composition, and tone using mixed media such as:
- Watercolour
- Water-soluble crayons
- Inks and pens
- A loose, creative grid method to explore what visually appeals to you
- Your usual watercolour kit with brushes.
- Large sheets of watercolour paper (not needed for 'Watercolour Painting on Tissue Paper').
- Rigid board to tape your paper to.
