Everlasting Wreath Making Workshop

Create a gorgeous wreath that'll last and last at this everlasting wreath making class in Stroud.

2 hours Class size 1 to 8 guests       £55

Bring a little of the outdoors in with this everlasting wreath making workshop in Gloucestershire, where you'll create a willow wreath to hang on your wall all year round. You'll weave your own willow base, then decorate it with a hand-picked selection of British dried flowers and natural items foraged from the countryside.
It's made for beginners, so you don't need any previous experience. Your teacher will take you through each step at a relaxed pace, and with a maximum of eight people in the group, you'll have plenty of support whenever you need it. All materials and equipment are provided.
Along the way, you'll learn basic wreath-making techniques that you can use again and again to make fresh designs as the seasons change.
You'll head home feeling calm and refreshed, carrying a handmade willow wreath that's ready to hang on your wall or give to someone special.

I set up my independent floristry business in 2023 after training with the Bath Flower School. I grow my own seasonal flowers and also work with local flower farmers to get the best blooms. I have a background in working with community groups teaching horticulture and nature related crafts and activities. From both personal experience and my work as a Horticultural Therapist, I believe working with the seasons and nature is good for our health and mental well being. I have since combined these skills and now offer floristry based workshops for the wider community. This could be arranging with fresh flowers using different techniques eg. hand tied bouquets, flower crowns, meadow boxes, flower bowls or using dried flowers to make everlasting wreaths or wall art. I offer sessions for 3 - 8 people for individuals or organised groups eg hen parties/get togethers. I am happy to tailor a package to suit group preferences.
