What you'll do
The enamelling workshop consists of learning how to create amazing effects on different metals with vivid enamel colour powders. This enamel is very versatile and can be used on all metals and is, therefore, a very versatile medium used within today's modern jewellery making.
If you are interested in learning how to enamel your own jewellery, then this is the course for you. This course is suitable for all abilities.
The skills you will learn during the course are how to use enamel colours to decorate jewellery in your chosen design. Students will also learn how to layer colours to create special effects on jewellery pieces, along with learning about the different firing techniques.
This course is very interactive, and continued support is offered throughout the length of the course, whilst at the same time allowing students to work independently.
The course runs for 2 hours over one day, but on the odd occasion can slightly overrun to enable students to complete the piece of jewellery they are working on.

Hi my name is Carol. I started my jewellery journey at the tender age of 13, learning how to make beaded jewellery, before moving onto wire wrapping and eventually silversmithing.
I had spent many years teaching before deciding to open my very own jewellery academy, where I could teach the jewellery subject areas I wanted to teach.
