Create some gorgeous flowers at this fun embroidery class in London.

2 hours Class size 1 to 10 guests       £30 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Join this hands-on embroidery workshop where you’ll learn how to turn reclaimed fabric scraps into beautiful, sculptural flowers using just a few simple hand stitches. It’s a relaxed and welcoming activity designed for you to slow down, get creative, and explore how everyday materials can be transformed into something truly special.
In this embroidery class, you'll cover the basics of 3D textile techniques, sometimes known as stumpwork. However, the main focus is on play, experimentation, and the joy of making something with your hands – absolutely no prior experience is required.
Classes are kept small, ensuring everyone gets plenty of guidance from the instructor. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive setting. All materials are provided – just bring yourself.
You’ll leave with at least one finished flower of your choice, a few new skills, and hopefully some fresh inspiration for your own creative practice, having experienced the unique satisfaction of giving new life to old materials.
What you'll get
All supplies included, attendees will leave with their own floral creations and a new set of skills.

Hi, I’m Grace – a textile artist based in London, specializing in hand embroidery with a focus on sculptural, 3D techniques. I first picked up a needle back in 2020 as a way to pass the time (classic lockdown hobby), but it quickly turned into something much bigger. I fell completely in love with textiles and ended up moving to the UK in 2021 to study at the Royal School of Needlework.
I’ve recently moved into a studio at Wimbledon Art Studios, and I’m so excited to finally open my doors and start sharing what I’ve learned. My work explores ways of using traditional embroidery techniques to create bold, natural, and textured forms.
Whether you’re brand new to stitching or looking to try something a little different, I’d love to welcome you into the studio.
