Join this hands-on embroidery workshop where you’ll learn how to turn reclaimed fabric scraps into beautiful, sculptural flowers using just a few simple hand stitches. It’s a relaxed and welcoming activity designed for you to slow down, get creative, and explore how everyday materials can be transformed into something truly special.In this embroidery class, you'll cover the basics of 3D textile techniques, sometimes known as stumpwork. However, the main focus is on play, experimentation, and the joy of making something with your hands – absolutely no prior experience is required.Classes are kept small, ensuring everyone gets plenty of guidance from the instructor. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive setting. All materials are provided – just bring yourself.You’ll leave with at least one finished flower of your choice, a few new skills, and hopefully some fresh inspiration for your own creative practice, having experienced the unique satisfaction of giving new life to old materials.
