Discover the magical art of eco-printing in this taster workshop in London, where you’ll learn how to take beautiful prints directly from flowers, leaves, and seeds onto fabric. Guided by South London-based forager and natural dyer Zoe Burt, you’ll experiment with pre-prepared ribbons and uncover the secrets of this enchanting natural dyeing technique.
Perfect for beginners and anyone curious about sustainable textile art, this relaxed class will give you the chance to explore colour, pattern, and texture created by nature itself!
What to expect:
  • Step-by-step guidance from experienced artist and natural dyer Zoe Burt.
  • Learn how to eco-print using flowers, leaves, and seeds on fabric.
  • Set out designs for 2 unique napkins or wall hangings using pre mordanted fabric
  • Gain insight into Zoe’s practice as an artist, forager, and educator in natural dyes.
Eco-Printing is an experimental process, with lots of different factors. If you follow the tried and tested methods of the workshop leader, by the end of the session, you’ll leave with a set of unique homewares made by you. However, we don’t guarantee any particular result can be easily replicated.
This Class takes place in our custom lab space. If you would like to learn about the mordanting process, you can attend a 1 hour mordanting session on the Friday before your class 4-5. Please add the mordant session to your booking.

The Remakery started 10 years ago as a community space for repairing and upcycling furniture.
Since then we have developed several communal workshops for a range of eco-craft activities, and an exciting programme to link climate action with the empowerment of making with your hands.
Our practitioners have trained at London's top Arts schools, or developed their skills over years of self-discovery.
Our programme is curated by Alice Holloway; A researcher in regenerative fashion with The RCA and London Met university, and Innovate Creative Catalyst grant winning regenerative fashion designer.
The skills we share at the Remakery are proven to improve mental health, as well as change how class attendees see the world. We want everyone to feel empowered to make a difference, and we have seen how learning to make something is often in the first step towards changing something bigger.
