Step into the beautiful world of dried flower arranging at Bloomery's light, bright and airy floral studio nestled in Broadway, at the heart of the Cotswolds.

Dried blooms allow us to create long-lasting arrangements that capture the spirit of each season's harvest. Learn how to breathe life into your living space with a gorgeous, handmade bouquet.

In this hands-on class, you'll discover the fundamentals of drying flowers and understand what to consider when picking your blossoms and foliage. Under the expert guidance of your teacher, you'll then create your very own hand-tied dried bouquet. Choose from a curated collection of beautifully preserved blooms and let your creativity run free.

Your teacher grows, gathers and drys their own blooms alongside those sourced from exceptional local growers and specialised dried flower vendors. Bringing you the best flora to make a stunning creation.

Why choose Bloomery?
We believe in working with the environment and don’t use non-biodegradable oasis-type floral foam in our designs. Floral foam takes many years to break down, can’t be composted or recycled. In season we buy as many flowers as we can from local flower growers to support the local economy, also UK grown flowers have more scent than blooms from abroad and they also feed our UK bees! Nearly 90% of flowers bought in the UK are imported and may travel up to 3, 000 miles before they see a vase at home, so buying locally means the flowers are fresher and the air miles are none existent.

About me -- Allyson Martin
I’ve always loved working with flowers and plants. As a small child I’d sneak away at my grandparent’s house only to be found in the garden or greenhouse with Grandad, looking after the plants and vegetables that he grew. I finished university and started on a career in retail, eventually becoming a fashion buyer, which took me to some amazing places and I met some wonderful people, but the idea of starting my own flower business has always been with me. When we moved to the area I was able to complete my level 2 floristry certificate at Moreton Morrell college. To my enormous delight I was also awarded floristry student of the year. At this time I also worked for a floral installation company, creating arrangements for events such as the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Henley Regatta, Aegon Tennis tournament and even Wimbledon. I have now reached a point in my life where it’s now or never -- and I don’t want to look back and think ‘what if?‘. So here I am.
