- 1/5 from Charlotte Judge, attended Oct 2026: I was really disappointed with this experience considering the cost per person. 1. Our host was lovely but didn’t have much support for effectively painting the mats. 2. A variety of Halloween stencils were provided but no black paint at all. 3. Paints and tools provided were very cheap and quite hard to work with. 4. Painting a door mat with acrylic paint is not going to withstand weathering. I’ve been to buy sealant at my own personal cost to protect our creations! 5. The bags provided to carry our mats weren’t suitable in size or substance! The handles weren’t very strong and the mats are pretty heavy. 6. Stencils were limited, I was only offered Halloween ones when booking. I think some general shapes and letters would be a great addition to your portfolio. 7. We were also really disappointed to learn that all the materials are thrown away after the session. This felt like a very cheap experience for the cost. I shared the feedback with the company on ClassBento afterwards and received an unsatisfactory response. I believe that this experience is not worth £40pp and you do not walk away with a “high-quality”, “durable” item.
