Digitised Embroidery Workshop: Zipper Bags

Bring your own embroidery machine and discover how to transform a digitised embroidery design into a beautiful and practical zippered bag in just one day.Suitable for machines that transfer files via a USB stick, this class is not suitable for older machines that use USB cards to transfer files. Your machine needs to use a hoop size 240x150 or larger or for Brother entry machines with 4” small hoop, where several stitch outs will be required to make a zippy bag. This hands-on workshop is perfect for those who own a suitable embroidery machine and want to build confidence in stitching out pre-digitised designs while learning professional finishing techniques. You'll be guided through the entire process, from preparing your machine and hooping your fabric to stitching the design and assembling it into a finished bag.During the workshop you will:Learn how to prepare and load a digitised embroidery design.Gain confidence using stabilisers, threads, and embroidery machine settings.Stitch out a professionally digitised bag design.Sew and assemble your embroidered pieces into a useful zippered bag.Pick up tips and techniques to achieve a high-quality finish.By the end of the day, you'll take home your completed zippered bag along with the knowledge and confidence to recreate the project using your own machine.Please arrive at 9.30 to set up your machine in advance of the workshop starting at 10.00am.Good to know:The venue has parking. Upon arrival, park in the car park at the front of the shop. Unload your vehicle into your classroom. Staff will then advise you where to park your car for the day at the rear of the complex.There is disabled parking and ramps allowing access to all areas. There is a disabled toilet.Staff will help anyone in need of assistance. Shop on site selling an enormous range of goods relating to crafting: dressmaking, patchwork & quilting, knitting & crochet, sewing machines and furniture.There is a coffee shop on site called O for Coffee. Attendees at our classes are visited by coffee shop staff regularly throughout the day to take any orders. Anything consumed during your day is sold at a 10% discount. As well as a large choice of hot and cold drinks, the menu comprises savoury choices including sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and soups. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a selection of cakes and scones made in-house with gluten-free and vegan options.Cancellation Policy:

• Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a workshop you will receive a full refund.
• Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop more than 30 days before the workshop date you will receive a refund less our £5 administration fee. Tudor Rose Patchwork may be able to transfer your booking to another date.
• Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop less than 30 days before the workshop date, your payment will only be refunded if we are able to fill your place, less our £5 administration fee.
• Refunds will be made via the original payment method or can be taken in the form of goods or other workshops or group dates to the value of the refund being made.
• If a pattern is available for the workshop and no refund is able then Tudor Rose Patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.
• Patterns are not available for workshops that you have not attended or paid for.
• Patterns remain the property of the tutor and should not be copied, passed on or used for teaching purposes without the permission of the tutor.
