Hi, I’m Dee, and painting has always been one of my greatest passions. What started as a simple hobby quickly became something much more meaningful for me. Painting allows me to slow down, relax, and express creativity in a way that words sometimes cannot. Over time, I realised how powerful art can be — not only for creativity, but also for connection, relaxation, and joy.That’s why I started hosting painting sessions at the beautiful Crystal Salt Cave in Borehamwood, a venue that is truly special and unique. Here, painting becomes more than just an art activity. While we create, guests are also surrounded by the calming environment of the salt cave, where they can relax and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of salt therapy at the same time.I love teaching because it’s incredibly rewarding to see people surprise themselves. Many guests arrive saying, “I can’t paint” or “I have no experience, ” and by the end of the session they are proudly holding their own masterpiece. That moment of confidence and joy is the reason I love what I do.The atmosphere during our sessions is always warm, friendly, and social. We laugh, chat, and support each other while creating something beautiful. No experience is required at all — just come with an open mind and enjoy the process. You might surprise yourself with what you can create.During the session, guests can sip a glass of prosecco or tea, enjoy a small snack, and fully relax while painting. The salt cave setting makes the experience even more special — it’s art, wellness, and social time all in one.To keep the experience intimate and comfortable, sessions are limited to between 1 and a maximum of 11 people in the salt room. This allows me to guide everyone personally and create a cosy, welcoming environment where everyone feels at ease.In addition to regular painting evenings, I also organise corporate team-building events, private painting sessions, and birthday parties for both kids and adults. It’s a wonderful way for colleagues, friends, and families to spend quality time together while doing something creative and memorable.For me, these sessions are about more than painting. They are about relaxation, creativity, connection, and leaving with something you created with your own hands.I can’t wait to paint with you and see the masterpiece you create.
