£30 - £50 (£30 for Adult; £50 for Adult and one child) (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Join this crochet workshop in Wolverton and bring the project you started in Part 1 to life. This session is designed specifically for those who have attended Crochet Bag Class Part 1 and have their thirteen five-row granny squares ready for assembly.
In this hands-on class, you'll focus on joining your squares and crafting the handles to complete your bag. Your teacher will guide you through the technical steps, ensuring you feel confident as you work.
During the workshop, you will learn how to:
  • Join their crochet squares using one of a number of different techniques.
  • Read a simple crochet pattern to complete the handles (from pattern provided in Part 1)
  • Make a double crochet stitch
  • Decrease stitches
  • Crochet on both sides of a foundation chain
  • Use a slip stitch as a decorative feature
Classes are kept small to ensure everyone gets the help they need, making it a relaxed and supportive environment for both right and left-handed stitchers. You'll also enjoy homemade cake and refreshments as you stitch.
If you don't manage to finish within the time, your teacher offers support after the class to help you get there. By the end of the session, you'll have transformed your pile of squares into a beautiful, functional bag to use with pride.
Please note:
  • There is an excitable chocolate Labrador at the venue; please consider this if you have allergies or are not comfortable around dogs.
  • Please let your teacher know of any dietary requirements before the class starts.
What you'll get
A completed bag to take home.
What to bring
Thirteen completed granny squares, their remaining yarn, sewing needle, 5mm hook and Sundrop Flower Granny Square bag pattern from Part 1 of the course.

My name is Sandra and I learned how to knit when I was seven. I have a very vivid memory of standing in the school playground knitting needles in my hands and a ball of wool in my pocket! Crochet came a bit later when I was twelve, with a baby blanket.
Later, I got interested in visible mending and added the Japanese mending technique of Sashiko to my existing darning skills, enabling me to repair a very wide range of holey textiles!
Being creative helps me feel good about life and I love to help others find ways of expressing their own creativity too. I take great pleasure from seeing students progress and in their joy at their achievements.
I teach crochet, darning and knitting in classes of up to five people. I also offer one-to-one tuition at £20 an hour.
