Planning a handmade wedding? Discover how your Cricut machine can help you create beautiful, personalised details for your celebration, from invitations and stationery to hen party accessories, signage, favours and more.
Designed especially for Cricut beginners, this three-week online course will introduce you to three essential Cricut techniques: paper and pen projects, heat transfer vinyl and permanent vinyl. Rather than focusing on recreating one specific finished project, you’ll learn versatile skills that you can use again and again to bring your own wedding ideas to life.
You'll join your workshop host live on Zoom in a small group of up to 10 other crafters, giving you plenty of opportunity to ask questions, follow along and build your confidence using Cricut Design Space.
Week 1 – Paper, Card & Cricut Pens
Start with the essentials of creating and customising designs in Cricut Design Space. You’ll learn how to cut paper and card, personalise templates and use the pen/draw function to add names, wording and decorative details. We'll explore how these techniques can be used across your wedding stationery, including invitations, place settings, table plans, menus, favour tags and more.Week 2 – Heat Transfer Vinyl
Discover how to cut, prepare and apply heat transfer vinyl to different surfaces. You'll practise using HTV on materials including jute and wood, while exploring plenty of other wedding possibilities, from personalised hen party T-shirts and make-up bags to flip-flops, favour bags and decorations.Week 3 – Permanent Vinyl
Learn how to work with permanent vinyl to create polished personalised details for your day. You'll explore techniques that can be used for guest books, table signs, door hangers, welcome signs, favour jars and lots more.Your craft kit
Your course includes a wedding craft kit containing everything you need to practise and craft along during the three sessions, with a beautiful neutral palette of white, cream, natural and gold.
The kit is designed to help you master the techniques rather than dictate the look of your wedding. Once you've learnt the basics, you can add your own materials, colours and finishing touches to suit your wedding theme and create something completely personal to you.
Please note: You'll need your own Cricut machine, heat press (any size) and access to Cricut Design Space. You'll also need a compatible Cricut pen, Cricut Scoring Stylus and weeding tools for your machine before the course, if you do not already own these. Your host will demonstrate the techniques and provide lots of inspiration, but finished projects may vary as the focus of this course is on building your Cricut skills and confidence.
You’ll be sent a follow-up video which will be live for 12 months afterwards, so you can revisit the techniques when you're working on your wedding projects later.
By the end of the three weeks, you'll have explored three of Cricut's most useful crafting techniques and, more importantly, have the confidence to start turning your own handmade wedding ideas into reality.
Your class will take place on Zoom, our online workshop platform. There’s no need to download anything—simply click the link provided in your booking confirmation to join the session at the scheduled time.

Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.
