What you'll do
Set the tone of a room with your own Stained Glass Candle Lantern and learn the copper-foiling technique; a modern construction process that allows you to create 3D shapes using copper tape and solder. In this hand-on day course you'll be able to pick from a wide selection of glass colours to make your lantern from. You also have the option to choose a patina mirrored back to give a subtle antique effect. You'll learn how to cut and solder your glass pieces together and end the day with your own piece of art for the home or garden which can be used hanging or standing.

What to bring
All materials and tools are provided. Tea and coffee are included during the day, but please bring your own lunch or pick something up from the local High Street, a 3-minute walk away. There is ample free parking in the streets outside and around the venue.Essential Info:- Please wear closed-toed shoes and tie back long hair.
- Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or bring an apron.

The studio is on the main road just along from the main High Street in Staple Hill. There is ample free parking outside the venue.
Your teacher
We are a creative studio based in Staple Hill offering a wide range of craft courses, classes and workshops from sewing, dressmaking, stained glass, printmaking, upholstery, crochet, weaving and much more. Our classes run 7 days a week and we have activities for adults and kids during the day and evening. Why not learn a new skill or improve one you already have at a one of our exciting workshops? Our studio space is also available to hire.
