What you'll do
Make a selection of beautiful decorative stained glass flowers and/or leaf hangings using the copper foiling method in Bristol, at our studio in Staple Hill. Choose from a lovely range of glass colours and learn this beautiful artistic technique in a relaxed, welcoming space. This is the perfect workshop for beginners where you can learn all about the traditional craft of copper foiling -- no experience required! You'll receive expert guidance every step of the way, with plenty of time to experiment and learn. What to expect:
- Pick from a wide selection of glass colours to make your hangings out of.
- You'll then learn how to cut and solder the glass pieces together and end the day with your own hangings for the home or garden.
- Our experienced tutor will enable you to get a good grounding in the core skills, whilst also helping you finish your piece during the day ready to take home and show off!
- Learn about different types of glass and choose from a wide range of colours and textures to suit your style.

Your teacher
We are a creative studio based in Staple Hill offering a wide range of craft courses, classes and workshops from sewing, dressmaking, stained glass, printmaking, upholstery, crochet, weaving and much more. Our classes run 7 days a week and we have activities for adults and kids during the day and evening. Why not learn a new skill or improve one you already have at a one of our exciting workshops? Our studio space is also available to hire.
