What you'll do
Looking for unique team-building ideas or fun Brighton activities to enjoy with your foodie pals? Well, look no further than this friendly competition that will have you cooking in groups for the best-prepared feast.
You'll arrive at the Brighton Cookery School with your group and get a rundown of the day's events. You and your group will split into teams and receive a cash budget, a list of ingredients and the challenge to source everything you need to cook up a tasty main dish.
With guidance from a supportive teacher, you will have to negotiate the best price from market traders and retailers in the local area to create your meal. As a team, you will then cook like a professional chef (with plenty of advice) against the clock to avoid receiving the wooden spoon.
To finish this event, you will sit down and enjoy your meal as well as a surprise dessert. The winning team will be declared ‘Cookery Challenge Champions’ and points are awarded based on the best prices of ingredients, best quality produce chosen, and how good the finished dish tastes.
