What is required from you?- You need no skills in woodwork, metalwork, or using tools for these courses, you just need to be keen to get stuck in.
- Old clothes, work boots, and work gloves are recommended.
- All courses are run indoors in the dry with heating.
- Under 18s can take part if accompanied by a parent or guardian also on the course (one adult with each child) but only with prior agreement.
- There is also free tea and coffee on tap throughout the day, and a fridge is provided to keep any food or packed lunches cool.

Scott and Sue, experienced teachers and community workers with over 20 years in the field, have a long-standing passion for upcycling. It was the encouragement from friends and family, eager to recreate the inventive pieces they’d seen in Scott and Sue's home, that inspired them to share their skills. Now, more than eight years later, Scott and Sue offers Black Paw upcycling experiences in their workshop, helping people craft their own upcycled projects and learn skills they can use at home. Recently, they’ve expanded their courses to include van-to-campervan conversions, resin crafting and building fire pits from car wheels, bringing creativity and sustainability to a whole new level.
