Colour Theory Nature Retreat

Immerse yourself in nature at this unique holistic colour workshop!

5 hours Class size 1 to 6     label £120

Are you interested in holistic therapies and wellbeing? Looking to get out there and try something different? This one-day colour theory course will take you through an exploration of the benefits of colour and the impact it can have on your everyday life and wellbeing.

This colour theory nature retreat is an ideal way to relax, revive and re-energise whilst learning new ways to care for your wellbeing.

To begin, you will be invited to sit around a warming campfire to enjoy nourishing refreshments. Your teacher will then explore with you colour using all of your senses and working intuitively with essential oils and herbs.

After that, you will enjoy a creative activity (losing yourself in a process not concerned by ‘finished pieces’) whilst learning about colour therapy and colour bias.

During the day, you will also learn the benefits of eating seasonally whilst cooking and preparing autumnal refreshments, using herbs and homegrown veg picked from the garden.

The main lunch and treats throughout the day will be provided by a local vegan cafe, Vegan Revelation. The day will then finish with a beautiful guided colour meditation!

Walk away feeling nourished and relaxed with an understanding of how colour can transform your home, your style, your behaviour and even your sense of wellbeing.

Lucy works holistically and creatively with colour on many levels to inspire a more conscious lifestyle.

Colour links Lucy’s Passions together~ The natural world, simple living, working with reclaimed materials, global travel and colour, using all the senses!

Creativity, essential oils, colour theory and therapy, herbs…. all combined with her love of fabric and interiors

Based in Derbyshire, she works with clients from her beautiful home, garden and studio, to find the best in themselves and harness their confidence and creativity, aiming to guide and inspire with her diverse wisdom and skills in colour, design and wellness field.

Lucy has a lifelong passion for nature and the environment and an ingrained childhood love of colour, which was later reinforced and inspired by time travelling the globe, particularly Central and South America and living and working in the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, for a number of years.

With a very creative upbringing and family values of ‘make do and mend’ Lucy was naturally led on a path of the Arts, which resulted in a Masters in Sustainable Design from the Royal College of Art, London.

Lucy has exhibited in the UK & Internationally Including New York (ICFF), London (Tent/100%Design/Grand Designs), Paris (Maison Et Objet) scene. Commissions include Liberty London, in collaboration with Grayson Perry, Kew Gardens Orangery, Colin Firth and Eco-Age, Mint London and a commissioned published book with various features in popular design publications.

A countryside girl at heart, having grown up with campfires, allotments and fields in rural Oxfordshire, the energy of London had become draining and she longed for peace and quiet and green spaces.
