What you'll do
Get ready for a cosy, creative, and slightly spooky evening at Pictura Chester. In this relaxed clay workshop, you’ll create your own handmade ghost lantern from clay, complete with cut-out features designed to glow beautifully once lit from inside. Our friendly tutor will guide you through the hand-building process step by step, so no previous clay experience is needed. This is designed as a fun social evening rather than a formal pottery class, making it perfect for friends, date nights, birthdays, or simply trying something different. You can keep your ghost cute, spooky, wonky, or completely unique -- there’s no right or wrong way to make it. Once finished, your ghost will stay with us to be carefully dried, fired, and glazed. Your finished piece will then be ready to collect approximately 4 weeks later. Good to know:
- Please arrive around 10 minutes before the session starts.
- Your ghost will be left with us after the session for drying, firing, and glazing.
- Finished pieces will be ready to collect approximately 4 weeks later.
- We’ll contact you once your lantern is ready for collection!
