What you'll do
Looking for a way to treat your team? Indulge them in this truly decadent chocolate and wine tasting and let them enjoy a taste bud journey they’ll never forget! To begin, this delicious tasting will kickstart with an introduction from the chef, which is then followed by a short exploration into chocolate – this will include the history of chocolate, how it is made and even the chance to taste and touch cocoa pods.Then, it will be time for guests to enjoy an in-depth tasting where they will learn all about how to savour each element from the snap, aroma, taste and aftertaste. Guests will enjoy a tasting of some of the finest single-origin chocolate from around the world including Venezuela, Papua New Guinea, and Peru and St Lucia. A fascinating live chocolate-making demonstration will then follow, with the option for guests to get involved in the chocolatey fun! The fun doesn’t stop there, guests will then be invited to match fine table and dessert wines with chocolate, followed by a tasting of three different wines and tawny ports each with the different types of chocolate.Throughout the session, team building activities in the form of interactive challenges will take place to encourage bonding and will keep the event fun and engaging for all!As the chocolate tasting draws to a close, guests will be invited to ask all their cocoa and vino related questions before heading off full of newfound knowledge and of course, with some very happy taste buds. Please note:
- The teacher can accommodate most dietary requirements.
- The event duration is flexible and can last between 1-3 hours, depending on the size of the group and your requirements.
- Our pop-up cookery school can travel to your choice of venue nationwide. We work in partnership with many leading hotels, spas and venues across the UK and can help source an appropriate venue with overnight accommodation for your company. Alternatively, we can hold an event on your company premises. Feel free to get in touch to ask about your options, and we will do our utmost to come up with a package which best suits the needs of your company and budget.
