What you'll do
This workshop will provide you with the basic stitches needed to open your world to the wonderful art of crochet. This beginner-friendly workshop will introduce you to beginner stitches and show you the endless possibilities of creating wonderful designs. You'll be guided through the process and by the end, you'll be on the way to having a beautiful square to take home.During the workshop, you will learn how to hold the yarn and the hook, how to make a chain stitch, and how to make a few stitches including single crochet and double crochet. You should go home with the start of a crochet square plus a crochet hook and some yarn to continue at home.

- Explore different yarn options and discuss how they can enhance your creations.

In my work, I prioritise sustainability and mindful crafting and promote these in classes that I run, where possible I like to use carefully select vintage and end-of-roll natural textiles and trimmings, giving these materials a new life and purpose. I have been teaching sewing and crocheting for many years and love to promote and allow people's own style creativity shine.
