2 x 5 hours Class size 1 to 50 guests

£150 - £160 (£160 per guest when you book for 1+ guests, £150/guest for 6+ guests) (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Join this two-part ceramic workshop and learn how to create your own unique vase from clay. In the first session of this hands-on activity, I will show you basic hand-building techniques and guide you through my step-by-step way of creating a beautiful form.
More importantly, I will encourage you to develop your own style and produce an original piece of work. We will explore what you love and find ways to capture this in your design, discussing themes and colour matches to make your vase truly personal.
This workshop takes place over two sessions. After building your vase in the first class, you will be invited back to the studio approximately three weeks later to paint your creation with your choice of decor and colours. You can then leave it with me to be refired, ready for you to collect the following week.
You'll finish the experience with a stunning, completely unique vase that you've designed and crafted from start to finish, ready to take pride of place in your home.
What you'll get
Expert tuition, clay, 2 firings, glazes, tea & coffee with biscuits.

I started drawing at the age of 7 which lead to painting and many other materials. Then in 2008 when I started a fine art degree course I began to use clay and have not stopped. Clay really does open up another world, it’s fun, exciting, therapeutic and has endless capabilities. I work in both ceramics and bronze. I have created corporate and private commissions large and small. Over the years I have also done many talks to groups about my work, and I have also done demonstrations and work-alongs with big groups and home educated children to mention a few. I love to pass on what I have learned. After completing my fine art degree I wanted to learn more about clay so I joined a ceramics MA course and gained a master’s degree in ceramics. I now teach small groups in ceramics from my studio. It is a friendly relaxed and fun environment to come into!
