Give your knitting the polished edges it deserves! In this technique-focused workshop, you’ll learn a selection of cast on and bind off methods that give your projects the right start and finish — whether you're aiming for stretch, structure, or style.

We’ll cover:

  • Cast On Techniques
    • Knit cast on
    • Long tail
    • Backward loop
    • Provisional
    • Tubular
  • Bind Off Techniques
    • Standard (knit) bind off
    • Stretchy
    • Sewn
    • I-cord

If time allows, we’ll also look at a few bonus techniques to boost your confidence and flexibility. You’ll leave with a set of swatches, a printed reference sheet, and the knowledge to match your edges to your project with confidence.

We keep our workshops small, for 1–8 people. You can “Book into a public class” on a listed date, or click “Request a class” and tell us when you’d like to meet.
