What you'll do
Immerse yourself in this candle-making class in Clovelly and unlock your creativity! This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to discover the secrets behind candle making and create handmade gifts for friends and family.
Over six hours, you will make beautiful candles in a container using plant wax, pillar candles and beeswax-dipped candles. Your friendly and passionate teacher will guide you through the process step-by-step, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and confident.
Kick off the day with a welcome drink as you get to know your fellow candle-making pals in the class. You'll be introduced to all the candle making equipment, ingredients and techniques required for each candle type you'll make.
After a lunch of a jacket potato, you'll work in pairs to craft your natural aromatherapy candles. Pick out your own scents and experiment with different aromatherapy benefits. By the end of the session, you’ll have created your own unique set of handmade candles that are perfect for gifting or keeping as a treat for yourself.
