What you'll do
Unwind with this mindful practise and learn the art of modern calligraphy in this Christmas-inspired workshop. This is a beginner-friendly 3-hour workshop - you do not need any previous experience to enjoy this session.Throughout the workshop run by inspirational calligrapher (& all-round talented artist) Millie from PaperMill Calligraphy, you will be guided step by step on how to form letters and words and apply the principles of calligraphy to create beautiful Christmas Cards, Envelopes, Gift Tags, and a Personalised Bauble!You will leave with a new skill and the confidence to continue your calligraphy journey.Suitable for all abilities.This is a relaxed and friendly workshop with supportive, experienced guidance from Millie, and delicious goodies including all your drinks and homemade cakes. There's also a glass of mulled wine towards the end of your workshop to help get you into the festive spirit!Come alone, bring a friend, or get the gang together!If you can't make the date offered and you have a group of 4 or more of you then get in touch and we'll see if we can find a date that suits.

We are easy to find once you know how! Our postcode does not bring you to us, so either find “Larkswold” on Google Maps or follow our directions: From Stow on the Wold, stay on the A436, do not turn into Adlestrop village. After the ‘Lower Oddington’ sign, our driveway is on the left immediately before the railway bridge. From the opposite direction (Chipping Norton) also do not be tempted to turn off the A436 to Adlestrop village, stay on & we are immediately after the Adlestrop railway bridge, on the right. It’s a sharp hairpin, but go slow and you’ll be fine!

Run by best friends, Melinda and Emma, Larkswold has a range of amazing crafts for you to enjoy. They aim to bring warmth, joy and rejuvenation to all their classes so you can feel refreshed. Based in the Cotswolds they love the natural beauty of the landscape and love nothing better than a walk with a well-behaved dog (!) followed by a nice sit-down with a cuppa & a slice of cake!
